Since opening it’s doors in 1992, Darlene Ceglia’s Dance Project has been setting the standard by combining meticulous fundamental technique, cutting-edge innovation and a loving and nurturing approach.
Over the years students have had the opportunity to perform at high profile special events including; Five performances at The America Gardens Theater EPCOT Center Orlando Florida, Curtain Up!, The Mayors Inaugural Ball, Millard Fillmore Health System 150 Anniversary Gala, The Leukemia Society Diamond Ball, AM Buffalo and most notably, they were chosen to perform at the 1998 kick-off for National Dance Week at New York City¹s renown Lincoln Center where they appeared with Anne Reinking, Cheita Rivera, the award winning Broadway cast from Disney¹s ³The Lion King² and the Radio City Rockettes.
Dance Project students can currently be seen on stage at Sheas Performing Arts Center in the new promotional commercial for the Buffalo Visitors and Convention Bureau.
Congratulations to the Dance Project students on their superb performance at the DanceAmerica National Finals in Las Vegas.
Seven First Place Finishes, Two Second Place, High Scoring Large Group, Overall High Score Champion, & Teachers Choice Award of Excellence.
